Historical Data Access (HDA)

Historical Data Access (HDA) is a web-based tool that provides Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) issuers, at no cost, historical stock price and index information. Its capabilities include downloading up to 6 years of historical stock and index information.

Data Availability

  • Stocks

    Up to 5 years of historical trading data for TSX securities. Data includes Open Price, High Price, Low Price, Close Price, Number of Trades, Value Traded, and Volume Traded. Queries may be entered for previously listed or delisted symbols.

  • Indices

    Up to 5 years of historical index data for S&P/TSX Indices. Data includes Total Return Index Value, Index Close Price, P/E Ratio, and Dividend Yield.

  • Short Position Reports

    These reports can also be accessed on the HDA site under "General Information" on the Home page. Reports will be available 4 business days after the 15th and last day of each month.
